Safe-Tee Management has extensive experience in helping organisations to develop manageable and realistic drugs and alcohol policies. We believe in a three-tiered approach to tackling the problem within the workplace: screening, counseling and rehabilitation.

Counseling and rehabilitation
It is difficult for organisations to deal with alcohol and drug-related issues effectively. Managers are inexperienced and not qualified to cope with problem individuals. Also, maintaining any level of confidentiality is almost impossible to achieve.
The service provided by Safe-Tee Management can be of enormous benefit both to the employees involved and the organisation. It can lead to quicker rehabilitation and a faster return to effective employment. Also, you will be recognised within the workplace as a caring employer by working with a professional organisation.
Counseling enables us to uncover the individual's medical, emotional or psychological issues. The level and length of treatment is dependent on the impact drug or alcohol abuse has had on the individual's health and wellbeing. Those with chronic dependency are harder to rehabilitate, as they have more complex medical problems.
After each counseling session, subject to confidentiality, a progress report will go to the individual who instigated the referral, probably a line manager or occupational health practitioner.
Employees with a dependency on drugs or alcohol are also likely to need a rehabilitation program. With our extensive experience, we can determine the most appropriate clinic and treatment for the needs of the individual, and provide a cost-effective solution for your company.
Safe-Tee Management utilises the services of a Social Worker who is also a certified counselor to assist the employer and employee to develop a plan and follow-thru.
