INCIDENT & WORKPLACE ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Safe-Tee Management is very familiar with Accident & Incident Investigation procedures.
Our Health & Safety Advisors are experienced incident investigators and are very familiar with root cause analysis and CAP incident classification criteria. Safe-Tee Management can assist, mentor and when required, lead incident investigations on the company’s behalf. We ensure follow-up on all action items until completion. Safe-Tee Management can also provide management with a preliminary incident summary for quick review and response.
We can also provide a monthly incident analysis, included in the monthly Health & Safety Summary, which will track root cause analysis, incident follow-up and identify trends. We will formulate recommended action plans to lower risk, for management to consider. First aid, medical aid and lost time incidents will be identified; recordable incidents will be summarized and calculated.
Incident learnings can be summarized in a Hazard Alert format, and will be forwarded to all workers to increase awareness and assist in the prevention of reoccurrence. This analysis is extremely important in identifying incident trends and is the basis for any risk mitigation program. The formulation of Hazard Alerts benefits all persons involved in the work by increasing awareness right down to the level of the front-line worker.
These Hazard Alerts can be posted and discussed at safety meetings and at Occupational Health & Safety Committee meetings.
The continual recording, investigation, communication, measurement, and goal setting with respect to an organization's workplace accidents and injuries are a key element in an effective Occupational Health and Safety Program. Without this aspect of a program, an organization would be without barometers of its accidents and injuries track record and would be losing a valuable learning tool.
STM can also conduct witness interviewing and handle media inquiries on your behalf.
Working with your Organization, STM moves to put highly effective accident and injury management, reduction and elimination strategy systems in place.
